About Us
Ambleside School of Ashland at a glance.
Children, I think all children, so taught, express themselves in forcible and fluent English and use a copious vocabulary. Parents become interested in schoolroom work, and find their children ‘delightful companions.’ Children show delight in books and manifest a genuine love of knowledge.

Ambleside School of Ashland has been serving the Chequamegon Bay community since 2022. Here are the fundamentals about our school.
Ambleside is a Christ-centered, Kindergarten through 10th grade school located in Ashland, WI.
As part of Ambleside Schools International, we are one of 25 Member Schools across the world.
The philosophy of education developed by British educator Charlotte Mason shapes our curriculum and method. Her focus on engaging children with the best of creation and attention to habit-formation are models that remain relevant and poignant in guiding today’s children toward lives of purpose, character and excellence.
Class sizes are limited to 16 students, with one class per grade, so that every student and every teacher can be personally mentored in a warm supportive community of families.
We follow a traditional school calendar, with class from late August through the first week of June, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. on Mondays – Thursdays, and occasional Fridays.
Kindergarten students attend school three days per week, Tuesday-Thursday.
